1. What VinylBuff Is

VinylBuff is a directory of independent vinyl record stores in the United States. It is provided for informational purposes — to help people find record stores worth visiting. Using this site is free.

By browsing or submitting information to VinylBuff, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Listing Accuracy

We work hard to keep listing information accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every detail — hours, addresses, phone numbers, inventory types — is current or correct at any given moment. Stores change their hours. Stores close. Owners change.

Always verify directly with a store before making a trip. Call ahead, check their website, or look them up on Google Maps. VinylBuff is a starting point, not a guaranteed source of truth.

If you find an error, please use the contact form to let us know. We will investigate and update as quickly as possible.

3. Store Owner Submissions

If you submit your store through the Add Your Store form, you are representing that:

• —The information you submit is accurate and up to date.
• —You are authorized to submit information on behalf of the store.
• —The store actually sells vinyl records.

Submitting a store does not guarantee it will be listed. We review all submissions and may decline, edit, or remove listings at our discretion. We do not accept payment to list stores that don't meet our standards.

Featured placements (paid upgrades to appear at the top of a city page) are available for stores already in the directory. Accepting payment for a featured placement is not an endorsement of any particular store over others.

4. Intellectual Property

The content on VinylBuff — including store descriptions, copy, and design — was created by us and is protected by copyright. You may share links to listings and pages freely. You may not scrape, republish, or reproduce our directory data in bulk without permission.

Store names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We reference them only to identify stores in the directory.

5. Limitation of Liability

VinylBuff is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• —Inaccurate or outdated store information.
• —A store being closed, relocated, or otherwise unavailable when you visit.
• —Any loss or inconvenience resulting from relying on information in the directory.
• —The content of external sites we link to (store websites, social media, etc.).

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
